Reported in the Water category by Colleen Hardy at 06:34, Tue 13 November 2018

Sent to Harare, SMART Harare, Ward 13, and Zone 1 1 minute later

This section was dug up to sort out a burst pipe and there was a hole left with a yellow plastic warning frame, which has now be squashed. The water is now leaking out again, which means that the burst pipe was not sorted out first time. People are using this water to wash hands, cars, fruit etc. Please could this be sorted out ASAP.

Updates

  • This has not been sorted out and there is a lot of water here. Looking this morning, there was rubbish sitting in the water from the people quequing for beers at Delta Beverages. This has been like this for about 6 months. It is a health hazard.

  • There is a huge amount of water running from this burst pipe. This has not been sorted out properly for a good 4 months. Water is a life source and with the drought we are experiencing, these burst pipes need to be sorted out as a matter of URGENCY. Please could it be attended to.
